We agree on all parts. I guess I'm guilty of thinking his hardcore fan base thinks he's special because I'm not allowed to critique him like I do others. So since they argue my realistic, simple critiques I would assume they they think he is above it.. And if he is above Being critiqued then they must think he is special. I could be wrong .
Are Wilder fans classier?

-Slow feetAJ doesn't have skills though. hes superbly technicial. He doesn't have a slippery defense, good foot work, angles. He's literally a text book boxer as far as punching goes. What skills do you see he possess? And no disrespect. I would love to just chat with no
Insults. If ignorant to the topic, a bigger mans job would be to tech me.
-Zero head movement
-Limited punch variation
-Leaky defence
He’s ok technically but his best attributes are based around his natural athleticism, speed, explosiveness and power etc.Comment

That's how I see it. I'm not saying the man is WITHOUT skills. I mean obviously compared to a none pro althlete. But when compared to his peers his talents lacks and his skills are minimal. He doesn't do any one thing great. But he is fundamentally sound. And that combined with the attributes you mentioned are enough to carry him to the top. But the HW division is shallow. Wilders attributes are enough to carry him to the topComment

Exactly, AJ fans get way too defensive over it. The HW division is filled with flawed fighters, especially technically. Least skilled division in boxing IMOThat's how I see it. Now see I don't think AJ is mediocre. I favor him in a match-up with Wilder. AJ may be the kind of boxer that doesn't do anything excellently but does everything well.
Take a couple of your points earlier. Does he move particularly well? No, but he uses smaller steps to position himself well. He moves better front-to-back than he does laterally. So yeah, he doesn't look graceful like Ali or even Fury but he's really good about keeping his weight on his toes and keeping his feet aligned to his opponent. The fundamentals are there even if the flash isn't.
His is defense great? Again, he's not flashy but he moves his head enough just not to get caught flush (usually). He's really good about keeping his hands up and getting those long, big arms in the way of opposing punches. Of course, that's how I'd attack him - feint to the head and work the body. There's no doubt he can be tagged but defensively he's not terrible.
I don't like that leading weak left hook that he throws. He leaves that punch out there, inviting someone to duck it and throw a hard right into his ribs. So he has flaws but I think he's just one of those guys who does a lot that is better-than-average. That, and excellent conditioning, can take you a long way in this sport.
But to listen to the eur0trash, AJ is the best thing ever and Wilder is the worst champion of all time who can't carry AJ's jock. When I hear people like that I just give their opinion the proper consideration of which it deserves - none. None of the guys out there - Wilder, Fury or AJ - are proven enough for us to really know if they could be considered even very good, never mind great.Comment

You should qualify your classification of Davis fans. Not all Gervonta fans are like that. Maybe you ran into some of his "new" fans!
