Dominique Breazeale, with a record of 20-1, became the mandatory contender of the WBC Heavyweight division in November 2017. Funny that the WBC orders this fight just a few days after Hearn says he wants it.

Like I said though, I won't complain because it ought to be a good fight. Perhaps a healthy payday plus the chance to win a belt, even if it is a phoney interim one, ought to lure Breazele into signing up.

Yeah it makes sense. I mean both guys have a legitimate claim to be the mandatory the only way to entice them to fight is by upping the stakes a bit and making it for the interim belt is the best option.

Both are weak. Both are no danger to the top 3, who all are far from being great.

I guess this suggests Fury and Wilder have come to a deal.
