The date this was booked was smart. Sure those celebs probably ***ed with Tank but Grammy's weekend was the main reason they were there.
I don't personally care about those #'s but I'm sure that, its probably not a good number.
I expect the rest of Showtime's announced fights to do similar numbers. People know mismatches.....

More than anything, I'd day the AAF game probably took away some viewers that this card may have had otherwise. Because there is always a Saturday night NBA game this time of the year and there are UFC cards around this time, but the AAF opener did really solid numbers. It even beat out the OKC/HOU game.

I'm really happy people aren't falling for that bull**** They try to pull. Fans aren't as dumb as Mayweather, Ellerbe and Espinoza would hope.
Let us know when He'll have actual fight, not exhibition.
Tank is a growing brand. It's not about where he is now, it's about how he grows from here. He has the biggest name in the sports promoting him and has many celebrities backing him. I think he become at least as popular as Broner.

Awful figures. And this guy is hyped as the new superstar? Do me a favour. Casuals have got more sense then to tune into that sort of slop, they dont care if a fighter is 'young and making money' they want entertainment.

These are terrible numbers. And laughing at the excuses...he went head to head with Alliance Football. LMAO oh you mean the minor league football league with players that couldn't crack a NFL roster and had little to no advertisement. A weak UFC PPV and a random NBA game. Stop it. This card barely avg over 300K viewers meanwhile Top Rank went head to head also with Minor League football and a little thing called the Grammy's which drew 19.9Million viewers and still the top Rank card avg more then double the viewers.
It's not about what else was on TV. It's about Davis not being a draw (hell the crowd was a Mares crowd. they booed Davis fans had already bought tickets to root for Mares for the replacement). GGG not only got a replacement he SWITCHED the entire venue and state last minute and still drew well OVER 1M viewers to see him fight a bum.
