    Is 130/135 both dead divisions?

Only 3 people their Loma,Tank, Berchalt. Mikey i have no idea what he plans to do after his fight with Spence.

Young guys like Ryan Garcia is golden boy doing his thing on dazn. Teofimo says its his last year at 135 hes going to 140 next year.

Loma and Tank cant get done because of promotional reasons. Same with the other guys. So that really leaves Loma vs Berchalt.

These weight classes may certainly dry up if no new talent moves into them or promoters and managers prevent them from happening. Tank is in no hurry to step up and tske on a real threat. Loma has Crolla amd Commey later this year. I doubt Mikey comes back to 135, amd if he does he ownt see Loma until 2020.

Too bad Takashi Muira retired or else he'd be a good fight for Tank. Dude is one tough son of a b!tch. Rarely do you see fighters with that mixture of durability and power. Hits like a mule. Gervonta could gain a lot in a stoppage win over him.

I don't see why Ryan Garcia would move up to 140 before winning a world title at 135. I guess I could see why if they're chasing welterweight talent that may be faded in a couple years.

130 isn't dead, the match making has just been horrendous as of late.

135 has Mikey, Loma, Commey now, and then a bunch of good prospects under that (Luke Campbell, Memphis Miller, Robert Easter Jr, Devin Haney, etc)

At 130, there's Davis, Berchelt, Farmer, Cancio and Ito; "Tank" is the lynchpin and the schedule at 130 will move accordingly. Showcase fight at home (possibly against Cancio to seal the belt; I don't buy this Tenshin talk), Gamboa after that, the Farmer fight after that (assuming Farmer doesn't get hosed by the Matchroom Sport fighter on a Matchroom USA card), and then likely the possible Ito/Berchelt winner (both are with smaller outfits that do regular business with Top Rank) or a move to 135lbs.

          Dead is a relative term

130 and 135 are two different weight classes and you are lumping them both together. Both have their share of good fighters. Some good featherweights like Russell and Santa Cruz say they may go to 130 soon.
