WAIT!!.. I bought tickets to this. I thought Roy was fighting Osama bin Laden.
What a rip.
You sir are an idiot, but anyway. Roy isn't Roy anymore. Not the unbeatable and unimaginable like he use to be. I do know i'll be watching this fight anyway.I would love to see him get # 50, which he does deserve it, but we'll find out soon enough.
Jones' presence at a presser is not needed. People tpyically try to degrade Roy for not shwoing up, when in reality his fights have sold well regardless. This tells you that the reason this fight isn't seeling well is because of several other things:
1) Roy is fighting Ajamu, a comeback opponent and not a big name at 175.
2) They're fighting in Ida-****ing-ho. Seriously.
3) The tickets are too expensive if $200 are the cheapest they're givin.
Put this fight in Foxwoods with some $50 tickets available to go along with the expensive ones, and it's already sold half the arena.
I just think that people realize Jones is done beyond a doubt.I wouldn't want to see him dance and showboat without even trying to win like he did in his last fight.I don't think people will be fooled as long with Jones,as they were with Tyson.
Yes, Jones' performance in his last fight could also be weighing on the minds of those who otherwise might have got tickets to this fight. Either way it's cheap and Roy is my fellow Pensacola native, so I'm getting this fight and hoping he wins.
