A 3 fight plan for Maidana

Maidana has signed a multifight deal with PBC. So how would you bring him back?

    Fight 1: Victor Ortiz rematch
Ortiz is absolutely shot, so this would be nice fight to take the rust off. The first fight was entertaining as well so it’s an easy sell.

    Fight 2: Khan/Broner rematch
Providing he looks good against Ortiz, this would be a good step up. Khan-Maidana 1 was an incredible fight and Broner-Maidana was one of my favourite upsets of the last decade so I’d happily watch either again.

    Fight 3: Manny Pacquiao
A fight between two veterans, Maidana gets another huge payday and can get back to enjoying retirement

At this point in his career, I do not expect him to fight guys like Spence/Thurman.

Fight 1: Robert Guerrero. He has a recognizable name and will come to fight. He is shot though so this is the perfect guy for Maidana to look good against and get his name out there.

Fight 2: Manny Pacquiao. I think if he looks good against Guerrero, that would be enough to generate interest for a fight with Pacquiao. That would be a war.

Fight 3: Win or lose, I think the fight that makes a lot of sense for him would be either Broner/Khan rematches. Both fights were entertaining and involved guys with decent names. i think they would generate some interest

I always liked watching Chino fight. I would be excited for his comeback if he stayed in shape. I don't want to see him comeback to see him get his ass kicked.

Doubt he gets back to Welterweight. Probably looking at Super Welterweight at the lowest.

what weight is he going to fight at? I can't imagine after all these years off and all the weight he put on that we ever see him again at welterweight. He's old hasn't fought in 5 years and has a lot of weight to take off

The last pic is from December on his own twitter page lol

              1. Granados/Josesito Lopez/Victor Ortiz

              2. Broner rematch

              3. Manny Pacquiao/Keith Thurman

Start off with a tune-up. Not sure if he can get down to 147 again. At 147 get him a fight with Herrera or Sadam Ali. Maybe even Algieri, Rios or even Alvarado. Then get him in with a rematch with Broner or an eliminator vs. Danny Garcia. Ultimately I would steer him towards Shawn Porter for a title match. That would be a brawl.

He needs a 3-meal plan first.
I think he should take Andre Berto at 154.
