Going the protected paper champ route hasn't worked for anyone marketing wise why would it work for tank? you need big fights to become a big star

This is what one has to do to become TWO TIMES Olympic champion. Because they hold those games only once in four years.

I think you better start feeling yourself closer to the ground and not if you are flying above all others in realm of "Idols", "Greats", "Gods". Then make assumptions which are closer to our realms. I don't know who are those 2 fighters which expose Loma The Great but Loma The Great became after he NoMas-ed Walters, maybe earlier after Rocky Martinez KO but definitely not in his 2nd pro fight. He was highpromising novice in pro boxing back then and acted overwhelmingly good judging by his results.
As for Pac fight, until Mikey beats Spence Loma reamains one of the Top 2 P4P fighters right now and if he looses... it will just prove the point of weight classes being made for a reason.

Loma didn’t even turn pro right after his 2nd gold medal at the 2012 games in August. He joined the WSB in January of ‘13 and continued to fight as an amateur . So, he actually waited another 14 months before officially turning pro in October of 2013. Loma in his own words said he wasn’t ready physically to turn pro at 24. He wanted to wait until he was fully matured. That Is why it took until late 2013. So yeah, enough with the Tank moving slow bs from Loma fans.

Stop your BS, I don't even past the first paragraph.. Loma need to prove what him & his fanatics think of him, the best boxer in the world and the most talented of all time? LOL! for now is unproved at this statue and will still be until he will face & beat another great & dangerous boxer (of his size or bigger than him), but like his fellow Wlad he can never have got a great win during his entire pro career

LOL! but after his first fight a lightweight against Linares; Loma changed his mind toward Garcia and was thinking that if Linares can drop him so Mikey Garcia can KO him! LOL! First big duck from Loma.. and more to come for sure.. the hype always stop one day for the euros "greats".. Kova, Golovkin, McGregor, and tens others... Mikey Garcia/Loma can be like a new version of Marco Barrerra/Prince Naseem Hamed for the euros!

Any knowledgeable boxing fan can tell you Manny Pacquiao was good, very good for a time. However, his refusal to do OSDT is forever etched in my mind. Floyd was actually the first fighter to make it popular and help make it a regular thing. At the time people criticized Floyd and said he was "ducking".

Manny ascended weight classes without losing speed or power while putting on mass. That does not happen naturally, sorry. So called "fans" at the time ignored all of this and legitimately argued Manny was afraid of needles or afraid of giving blood...these were real, actual excuses used by Team Pacquiao.

I'd like to say if ANY fighter tried this today they would be signing their own death certificate, but you know how it goes with bigots and racists.

Loma is a hell of a fighter and he's passed every test he's had, most of which with flying colors. He did lose to Salido, but they had one of the worst refs in the history of the sport for that fight as well as a veteran roughhouser which Loma wasn't ready for...that's why the fight ended with Salido basically running from Loma as Loma adjusted to his roughouse tactics

Nonetheless Loma does keep pressing for Gervonta and Mikey now. It's those guys who keep putting the fight off...saying Arum is too difficult to work with. Who knows what really happening behind the scenes, but I definitely don't think Loma is afraid of anyone

                  • I'd like to see Loma vs Davis, cause I think it would be a good fight.

At the same time, I don't blame Davis for taking a bit of time. As long as he doesn't try to delay the fight until he sees some kind of a decline in Loma, then I'm fine with it. Davis is improving, Loma is improving, the fight can wait a year or two, and it will probably be better for it.

I appreciate fighters who will back themselves to take on any challenge, and who have the guts and tenacity to get in the ring with anyone. That's admirable. But I don't mind fighters who can honestly say that they just aren't ready for a fight.
It only gets annoying when a fighter runs his mouth all the time and then runs from fighting. When they flap their gums then duck, duck and duck. I don't really see Davis as being at this stage yet. I'll change my mind in a few years maybe, if he looks like he is hoping for Loma to get old - but right now? Nah, it's all good.

I'd like to see the fight, but I'm not going to be a hater because of it not happening.

The BS so far is coming from you as neither being "Great" nor "reamaining one of the Top 2 P4P fighters right now" is "greatest boxer on planet earth". So instead of telling others what they need start from yourself reading paraghraphs before replying to them and stop pushing your false understanding to other's mouths .
