Zepeda has good speed and way better defense than Prograis. And is smarter.

Prograis has a mediocre defense and is slow as fu.ck.

Ramírez vs Prograis is 50/50 fight.
Prograis wins easy against Ramirez. 117-111. That's being generous to Ramirez!

      Prograis stops him imo.

We can bet points if that fight ever gets made but I doubt it looks like by the time either Taylor or Prograis unify the rest of the belts Ramirez will be at 147 which might be better for him because he came in at 138.6 I feel he over trained and that could be a factor in his lackluster performance and he should consider moving up but regardless he showed he needs to fight more left handed fighters. I agree with you that it is a close fight and Ramirez can still win but if I was to go to Vegas and bet cash I'd bet on the southpaw and would favor Prograis and even Taylor 65/35

Taylor and Prograis to me would beat him comfortably he doesn't move his head enough and is lined up perfect for straight lefts and right hooks someone with more power who's naturally bigger can hurt him so that's something he needs to work on. I like Jose hes got a good chin has good values and is a solid fighter, but he has flaws and to me he didn't look good tonight and barely sc****d by with his belt in tact.

I ain't watched it yet but I alluded to this in the Pick Em - knew that if it was close Ramirez would be the one getting his hand raised... obvious he's the more 'in' fighter right now. Bold pick in the pick em BTW - I nearly went Zepeda myself but it's exactly this factor that swayed me.

But I just can’t see how Ramirez won 7 or more.

It just feels like they are pulling for the Top rank guy and I don’t like that.
I thought they were both TR... has Zepeda left?

Nonetheless Ramirez is clearly the more favoured guy right now and it's no surprise if he got the favourable commentary although I shouldn't really comment til I watch the fight.

Yeah, I had Zepeda by close decision at first but I didn't see anyone else picking him, which kind of had me scratching my head...Once I seen the ring walks and how Ramirez was being given the royal treatment by the crowd and the commentators I switched my pick to Ramirez. I also thought Ramirez's size might be a considerable advantage over Zepeda...And EVERYONE seemed to think Ramirez was going to win (made me doubt my own assessment), so at the last minute I switched my pick'em.

Ah - I hadn't noticed your change... but I did notice your initial pick cos I was surprised no one else had gone with Zepeda.

Ha ha.. all's good though - at least you get your points.

Prograis would definitely beat Ramirez imo after seeing that last night
