There's not many records modern boxing holds if you don't keep the historical scope really small. If you think of modern boxing as Sullivan to now that's 131 years. How many lifetimes? Exactly my point. It's a very small scale to be looking for once in a lifetime figures.

Most people don't get comfortable with boxing history until Dempsey and the 1920s...of course in that time you've only seen one Marciano and one Tyson. How often do you think those men come around?
My man... I love it when people use Historical references....

Records are to be broken. If someone specifically wants that record I'm sure it will be best oneday

Absolutely NOT! It is a suicide mission to move a fighter up fast in the Heavyweight Division so no it will never happen

          Probably.

You have guys winning belts 4 fights into their career now, so I wouldn't be surprised of some lame alphabet champ (think Charles Martin/Manuel Charr) gets put in a fight with some amateur star that a Hearn or somebody wants to prop up as the "next big thing" in boxing.

A Mexican will eventually beat the record.

Some of them turn pro at like 15 years old.

There has to be a good Heavyweight Mexican boxer first.
