BALDOMIR HAS NINE LOSSES. NINE. That's more than any elite fighter ever comes close to having in a career. Was Taylor beating Hopkins a huge upset? **** no.
What Ali went to do is irrelevant.
It was a huge upset that absolutly no one was expecting.
Tyson Williams was a big upset, as was Mayorga v Forrest.

a well trained a dedicated douglas was actually a pretty solid fighter. He just didnt have the heart to train enough. If u watched the holyfield fight, u see a fat douglas that was exhousted before teh 1st round ended!!!

And Baldamirs' win over judah was huge. It might not be remembered for very long, but hardcore fans will always have it as a great comeback, no doubt.

Everyone seems to be forgetting about Rahman/Lewis. That was a huge upset at the time.

I agree with Diego, if you look at the circumstances, the Baldy-Zab fight was a huge, huge upset. Zab had just KO'd Spinks in his hometown to become the undisputed welterweight champ of the world. There was a lot of hype about Zab at the time.

Was just doing some research, baldomir-judah was about 12:1 odds. I knew they were big but I thought they were closer to 8:1.

It still pales in comparison as if memory serves me right Douglas was a 25:1 dog.
