Without boxing causal fans boxers wouldn’t make 7 figure pay days!

In reality hardcore boxing fans in America(USA) are around 1 million fans out of 380 million people in America! The “average” Showtime views for boxing in 2018 was around 800k and highest was Wilder vs Ortiz at 1.4 million! The only reason ESPN or FOX get hire rating is thanks to their causal viewers that just watch the boxing just cause it’s on the channel aka casuals! Golovkin vs Jacobs & Ward vs Kovalev are prime example of low PPV sales cause only hardcore boxing fans supported that PPV because, causals don’t know and don’t care for any of those guys! Casual bring in the most money to boxing! Respect the casual fan cause it’s spends the same amount of money than the hardcore fan on PPV, tickets, etc! Without casual fans, boxers wouldn’t sale more than 800k PPV sales!

The only known boxers by American causal fans are Mayweather(retired), Pacquiao(40 years old), Canelo(somewhat but mainly causal Mexican-American fans)!

& this is coming from a hardcore boxing fan!

Based on my experience the 'hardcore' fans talk even more garbage than the 'casuals' i dont understand why this forum is so snobby about them.

In reality CASUALS are the majority of the worlds population.

Go to attend Tennis Match, and ask people to speak about the players from the 1980's, I bet you are the USA most the people in the crowd are not massively knowledgeable of the sports history. What I am trying to say is, boxing has always captured the attention of casual because? On a primitive level, human's like to see a fight still.

In boxing we call the casuals, in politics? They are the sheepish or lemmings.

That is the HARSH REALITY of it all while fans want to be little Fanboys for their favorite fighters and be in complete denial about it but this is the truth. You have to be able to grab the attention of the Casual Sports Fans and that is usually done with PERSONALITY.

Without the Interest of the Casual Sport Fans the numbers will always comeback average regardless if we're talking about: Ratings, PPV Buys or in DAZN Case Subscribers. Boxing fans, a lot of us are in complete Denial as to how popular our sport really is especially here in America

Casuals only care about Boxing when it is DRAMA attached to it or it is someone they can love to hate or root against here in America it seems. Also PERSONALITY, Controversy these are things that grabs the interest of the Casual Sports Fan. It is not just about your quality of opponents who Casuals don't know either.
