Damn good fighter, but if he wants longevity he needs to maintain discipline and not blow up too much in between fights. Ima sound like an old fart cos I am, but if Gervonta is patient, stays in the gym, gets good advice and listens to it the kid can retire in his 30s a rich man. I know there ain't much point preaching patience to a dude of 23 or 24, but 10 years or so really ain't that long in the big scheme, no matter how it seems at the time.

I reckon that's one thing we can say with a fair degree of confidence...Kid ain't just built like a Tank, seems to hit like one too.

I'd like to see him step up the competition in the next few fights, but the one time he has been thrown in against a world level fighter (Pedraza) he looked sensational.

Davis needs to straighten up. And it also falls on his team they need to be telling him to stay in his game. Not saying that they need to babysit him but they need to be honest with him. And Davis should know better he's already lost his belt on the scale once.

I'm glad he made weight but still get it together sir!!!!!

Training and nutrition would be the place.

But sure, yeah. I'll give it a look, but my only boxing was some 25 years ago and even then was probably best qualified as glorified sparring, even if we went at it pretty hard... lotta better heads on here than me to give you pointers.

How old are ya by the way?
