Boxing Chief Teases Khabib Vs. Pacquiao At Luzhniki Stadium

So, Manny Pacquiao vs. Khabib Nurmagomedov appears to be a thing.
There's wild rumours about Nurmagomedov venturing into the world of boxing with an opponent in mind and it's not Floyd Mayweather.
The UFC lightweight champion called out Mayweather (yawn!) with the pair going back-and-forth, but a match-up between them seems unlikely.
Though who needs Mayweather when you've got Pacquiao.
Well, that's the logic from Team Nurmagomedov. Boxing Federation of Russia has confirmed he's met the 30-year-old about a fight in the squared circle.
In fact, he's revealed they've made him an offer to fight at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow this summer.

    Федерация бокса России вступила предложением.
"Boxing Federation of Russia entered the proposal," he wrote on Instagram.
"Summer, Luzhniki, etc. How do you think, friends, do I need this challenge or not?"

Umar Kremlev, who heads Russia's boxing federation, claims Nurmagomedov will start training boxing while teasing the legendary Filipino-boxer as a potential opponent.
"We've met to discuss his transferring to boxing. He will start training in boxing soon. Plus we discussed organizing of his boxing fight in Russia," he said.
"I can't yet reveal the name of his opponent as negotiations are still ongoing. But we want to organize his fight in Moscow's Luzhniki Stadium right before the Boxing World Championship, which will also happen in Russia this year.
"It doesn't have to be Mayweather, it could be (Manny) Pacquiao, or some other big name from boxing."
Pacquiao, 40, recorded his 61st professional boxing victory by out-pointing Adrien Broner in January.

He's set to return in the summer with Nurmagomedov's camp wanting him to face the undefeated MMA fighter.
Of course, it wouldn't be the first cross-over bout. Floyd Mayweather fought UFC phenom Conor McGregor in one of most lucrative fights in boxing history.

Get that money! If Floyd can do it so can Manny. Khabib will bring a TON of fans.

Pacquiao gonna have to fight this guy in Russia? LMAO

It'll be worse than Jeff Horn. He's going to KO Pac with a body slam.

          Yea okkkkkkaaaaaay.

I don't buy it. I don't buy Khabib will ever box. He's not got a top ten in his division in standup game in MMA. He's not gonna be able to compete with a top 20, top 30 boxer.

Also its worth noting Khabib has almost f#cking died like 2 or 3 times now cutting weight down to 155. He wouldn't be able to get to 147 without cutting off some body parts.

Someone is just trying to keep Khabib in the headlines with this bs.
