Not as ridiculous as Anthony Crolla getting a shot but ok. Linares had lost a couple times before and came back to become champion.

I get what you're saying but I just don't think Linares deserves ANY title shot at the moment.
Let Loma fight Pedraza again in a rematch if he wants a stay busy fight.
Pedraza wasn't destroyed by Loma and he actually gave Loma a good fight..

The WBA has a mandatory challenger, the bid for said mandatory defense is set for the day before Valentine's Day, and Top Rank has publicly stated that they have no intention of pursuing the fight, whether they win the bid or not (with the only options to put off the mandatory already fighting in March, Mikey Garcia, or unable to fight until June/July, Richard Commey).

Lomachenko is about to be stripped of the WBA title, and no one even acknowledges that.

Sad that the hard luck never seems to stop for Commey. But I'd hoped he would win a title for some time now and he did so he'll get his paydays soon enough
