Korobov vs Aleem on the Undercard of Hurd/Williams?

Looks like this could be one of the fights on the UC of the Hurd/Williams. Sets up a potential opponent for Hurd when he moves up to 160 and gets Korobov back on FOX after his impressive performance vs Charlo. Also wouldn't be surprised if we see Korobov/Charlo II later in 2019.

    Is Korobov with PBC now?

Korobov is a pretty good fighter IMO, I’d rate him as top 10 guy in the division.

In terms of skill he's up there with the best in division, it's just his horribly shaky whiskers and possibly stamina that hold him back a bit.

Shame he blew his one real chance to make his mark while he was still close to prime.

Agreed. He’s one of those fighters who has the skill but lacks the will, so to speak.

Korobov earned this spot and I am happy for him. He deserves a chance to get some exposure and make a good payday before he gets another solid payday when he rematches Charlo.

This is how boxing should operate-perform well and get another chance, rather than guys like Rosado and Broner getting payday after payday in high profile fights to lose.

I think there is a chance we get that. I mean the WBC isn't mandating the Canelo fight anytime soon and GGG isn't going to fight Charlo, so why not Korobov rematch?

I don't know if Korobov is with the PBC or not, but maybe Haymon did link him to a multi-fight deal after the fight.

The talent has never been in question with him. Dude was just so inactive after the Lee fight where no one knew what he had left. Skills wise dude was a top level amateur for years. Interested in seeing how the rematch goes against Charlo.

Yes he does...and not a peep from people on here. Notice how the other charlo gets his rematch after a controversial decision. No rematch clauses for the B sides I guess.

With a full camp and appropriate time to prepare, he'll beat Charlo.

That's the intrigue of the fight. Charlo obviously did much better in the 2nd half of the fight, but how much was that Korobov running a bit out of gas? He wasn't preparing for a 12 rounder. Gut feeling, it is against pretty competitive but this time Charlo beats him clearly and may even stop him late.
