Comments Thread For: Anthony Yarde Admits Heavy Inspiration From Wilder-Fury

HE MAY ULTIMATELY have been denied his own piece of the action, but Anthony Yarde insists his voyage over to LA at the tail-end of last year still served as a massive inspiration to him. The unbeaten 27-year-old light heavyweight was booked in for a slot on the Wilder-Fury undercard at the Staples Center before an enforced late change of opponent was blocked by the local commission for not meeting a deadline, despite paperwork and medicals all being completed.

LIONS IN THE DEN.... That catchphrase just sounds so Corny especially when you have active boxers that originated it.You can’t call yourself a lion and your chasing squirrels and bringing them back to the den and bellowing your catchphrase

They have good record to the untrained eye but delve deeper they’re either padded or career super middleweights. There’s no excuse for his level of opposition. There’s well known names at every level and he hasn’t fought a single one.

Perfect example of a domestic level fighter that is overprotected. Other prospects around the world have already stepped up who turned pro around the same time frame. He must have one of those chins that a mild breeze would blow over the way they are protecting him.
