Well according to CompuBox Horn only landed 1 shot on Mundine, which shows he was putting on a defensive masterclass. It would've been silly of him to retire!

Horn only needed one.

But I respect Mundine as the warrior that he is. Unlike Manny he's at least trying to avenge his dominant loss to the Hornet.
