Why do you care about his mind? Aren't you a boxing fan? You say he can fight, shouldn't that be the end of your interest?

Seems like he's been held back right now because he hasn't shown enough wherewithal to convince his group that he can handle himself in and out of the ring.

The poor showing on the Floyd-McGregor card set him back about a year imo. It was all laid out on a platter and he came out flat and looked open.

He did come back looking better in the fight after that one so hopefully that's in the past now and things can get started again - offensively he's definitely no baby, there aren't many guys who have that combination of speed, power in both hands, and variety of punches.

Did you join here to hate on American boxing? Davis is a 130 pound world champion. What 130 pound boxer can beat him? What 130 pound boxer is he being protected from? All that is required of a good champion is to fight the best fighters in his weight class. He doesn't have to fight the best fighters in the world in the weight class above him. If Davis moves up to 135 then it's time to fight Loma but he is at 130 now. He is fighting a soft touch next but the guy was a last minute replacement for Mares who was not such a bad opponent.

Try again bud, When Rigo and Loma clashed rigo was widely considered by fans and experts alike as a top 5 P4P fighter. He was also supposed to take Loma to cuban boxing school

                It is strange.

He's nearly 25 and has been a pro 6 years now. people talk like he's an 18 year old green novice.

Back in 2017, Davis was late to the weigh-in and was 132 lbs. A full 2 pounds above the belt he was defending, so he was stripped. He was initially above the 130 limit again for his fight this past week.

If Loma and Tank fight at 135, Tank will probably be heavier on fight night.
