next year two years from now? he's taking several steps back since the pedraza fight. do his handlers know something we don't? maybe they know he's all hype and they are trying to milk him some more before he gets fed to the true elites in the sport.

Dominated him winning by 10-12 points.

Soto-Karrass KO’d Berto so is he >> Mayweather? IMO Floyd is better than Soto-Karrass.

To answer the question when will Gervonta step up? Well he’s a PBC guy and they don’t fight often and they always got to sneak in tune-ups so I’d say with him at the earliest in fall of 2020 but possibly as late as 2022 (if ever). He may just stagnate at this level and lose to a solid but not elite guy.

He's 24. Younger and far less experienced than Canelo was when the **** boys were claiming the ginger was too green for certain fights. What has changed since then? Why are certain people so eager to see Tank rushed into things?

Step up? Isn't he already a two-time champ at 24?

Mares was a very good opponent for him. Nothing he can do about Mares getting hurt

Meh. He won a belt, lost it and was gifted one back by the shady WBA in the same division.

He’s never been ranked #1 in a division and his competition is widely considered to be amongst the worst of current champions.

loma dominated him dropping him twice and did it while coming off shoulder surgery. too bad davis is deathly afraid of lomachenko and he refuses to fight solid fighters.

Adrien Broner Mk2. Little fat guy with no dedication. Still time for him to prove me wrong and dedicate himself fully, but I doubt it happens.

you can't dominate where two judges had two identical scores, giving Pedraza 3 rounds. domination is 1 round at best. Pedraza should've been KO'd by the 11th.

Pedraza took a lot of damage from Davis. Somehow Davis isn't credited for that.
