  • Comments Thread For: Ruiz: I'll Be Focused on Knocking Out Davis From The Opening Bell

With 33 of his 39 career wins coming by way of knockout, Hugo Ruiz is confident of boasting at least a puncher's chance every time he steps into the ring. That very mindset will apply to the biggest challenge of the year, as he moves up to the 130-pound division to face unbeaten titlist Gervonta Davis this weekend.

Should be a good fight up until the point Davis folds him like a chair.

It's his best an only chance...even if Ruiz could outbox Davis and win 10 rounds (which I seriously doubt), he is not winning a decision on the cards.

Its been a long time since I have seen an underdog come in and just throw everything but the kitchen sink at a champ. If your going to get KO'd anyway you might as well give it 1 helluva try.

I agree he will never win a decision, not the way boxing is today. He has to come in and let his hands go for broke. Get lucky and connect or get carried out. No shame in losing if you come to win . All the best have loses .

A lot of people don't know how to score fights when there "favorites" are involved....And T.B.E. has NO losses.

And proves the point about not losing a decision even if outboxed.

Don't lie dude, its on film & you CAN'T hide it T.B.E. outboxed him as much as you WISH it wasn't so which proved my point on how YOU scored the fight cuz you dudes hate T.B.E.

It’s unlikely to happen but I’ll be rooting for Ruiz to prove us wrong
