Comments Thread For: Hearn: Joshua-Wilder Does Over 1 Million PPV Buys in America

Yes he will.
Wilder vs Fury 2 needs 3x closure from boxing fans that loved their first fight.
If the marketing build goes well, along with Joe Rogan and friends talking about the rematch - and which we all know UFC fans gravitate to Heavyweights - then the PPV success of the rematch does 3x.
Why do you think Hearn has insecurities talking about Wilder vs Fury rematch. Notice how he OPENLY refers to profits? Is Hearn afraid that Fury will be a bigger draw than Joshua in the UK? If Fury wins, business wise, Joshua and Hearn still benefit for AJ vs Fury.
This is how we know Hearn is just nervous with AJ 2019 and what's happening with Wilder vs Fury 2 rematch success
This is another mind boggling ****** post above. Hearn wants Fury to lose so Wilder doesn't rematch and a chance he MAY take the Joshua fight as it's the bigger fight as it would generate over 100 million at the point it happens nearing 2020. Fury could never be a bigger draw doesn't have the marketing nor the style to do so.Comment

Wilder vs Fury 2; 2x or 3x factor - 600k, 900k, 44million, 66 million
You said Wilder wouldn’t see 15million.
Hearn knows that the Wilder vs Fury rematch will now save 3 hours when hosted in New York. 2AM is going to be far more attractive for ratings and numbers as well as New York doing better than the West Coast with Gate sales.
Wilder vs Fury 2 should do Canelo vs Cotto numbersComment

If the fight happens ( probably in late 2020) and both AJ/Wilder stay undefeated with their straps. Which at this point I’m not sure will happen
it’ll be a monster fight and a must watch for fans , I don’t know if it cracks a million PPVs in the States. For it to even have a chance of happening it’d have to happen in the States which would be quite the about face from Hearn and AJ who I thought wanted the fight to happen in the UK for the fans.
Most People and and any casuals that purchase it will do so because of Wilders who according to the Hearns is just a unskilled unknown nobody so that’s asking quite a lot from him. AJ is relatively unknown commodity in North America and will have spent the last couple years having his fights broadcast on a new platform with a small subscription base and out of sight out of mind to the avg North American boxing
/ sports fan
for a fight to do a million or more
PPVs in the States , it’s between 2 known fighters that have already made their mark in America for years. And unless something changes I don’t think Wilder or AJ will have the profile for it to reach a million
But hope I’m wrong about everything and it does happen sometime in the next 6-8 months and that it does great #s , it would great for the sport to have 1 HW whether it’s AJ / Wilder / Fury holding all the straps and leaving no doubt in everyone’s mind who’s the real #1Comment

The fact is Joshua is again left waiting for the outcome of the main event which will do massive PPV figures.Joshua is number 1 in the UK but NOT where it counts on the world stage.
If W/F is another thriller fans will no doubt clamour for massive money trilogy , Joshua is expected to beat untested and overweight Miller at 1/8 on. The Hearns will not be getting the lions share in any future negotiations that's for sure and should Joshua struggle against the big underdog then the tables will completely turn.Comment

I been saying that anthony joshua is still number 1 if you don't beat the top dog how can you become top dog. Joshua makes more money than both of them combined and he has the other 3 titles, yeah he hasnt fought in America and he should but to be honest uysk, miller, wladimir if he comes back who do you think they rather fight anthony and make 8 or 9 mill or fury and wilder and make 2 mil tops. Now by saying all that I dont think joshua is even the best heavyweight out there but wilder cant be asking for all this money and making these demands and he is not the cash cow.
Drake said it the best "cant go fifty fifty with no h**"Comment
