Will Spence inactivity hurt him against mikey?

Bro...they are not excuses. They are facts. I know you're a big Spence fan and all but Mikey's last fight was at Lightweight bro, 135lbs. This is welterweight we are talking about, 147lbs.

Yes I am a big Spence fan and I know Spence is a welterweight and Mikey just fought at lightweight but Mikey is a big lightweight who has 2 wins at 140. I don't make up fight night weights. If the show announces a fight night weight I write it down. They said Mikey weighed 149 on fight night for Easter and Spence weighed 156 on fight night for Ocampo. In a video of Mikey training for Spence his team said Mikey is packing on the muscle and expects to be about 155 on fight night. I think Spence will win by one sided KO partly because he is a naturally bigger man but mainly because he is a better fighter and would beat Mikey if they were both the same size. If someone wants to say Spence won because he is so much bigger that's their choice. I am not saying Mikey can't win. He is a proven great fighter and he could win. We will see soon enough.

Mikey going to the body is interesting. And you are right, no one has gone to the body against Spence. Peterson threw some body shots but he was overwhelmed from the start and was on the defensive much of the fight.


I can't wait for this fight though. First six or so rounds are going to be super interesting. And depending on how Mikey can control the fight, it may be a tight one until the end!

This was what showtime said he weighed for Ocampo months before Mikey challenged him. I can only go by what showtime said he weighed on his way to the ring. If they lied I have no way to know that but why would they lie? At the time Spence fought Ocampo nobody in the world knew Mikey would be fighting Spence in march 2019. I have never heard of Spence weighing in at 166 on fight night. Have you? People like to say Spence is a giant welterweight but the scales say he is just an average sized welterweight who gains a very normal 9 pounds from the weigh in to the the fight. If you have actually knowledge of Spence weighing 166 on fight night and aren't just guessing then what fight was that?

Lets just say if he was going into the ring at 162lb in 2015 vs Phil Lo Greco he isnt coming in lighters as he started to strugle to make the weight. Hes coming in around the 165lb range like kell brook. He has said as much in interviews also.

I mean did they have a choice but to be on board with the decision? Lol, I have no doubts they think Mikey will win and they will come up with the best game plan, but both Robert and Eduardo Garcia let it be known they did not want this fight.
