Slowly-but perhaps not surely-the World Boxing Super Series is creeping back into the boxing schedule. On the heels of a super lightweight semifinals announcement, comes news of movement in the cruiserweight bracket. Former titlists Mairis Briedis and Krzysztof Glowacki are set to collide in their semifinal clash, which will take place June 15 at Arena Riga in Briedis' hometown of Riga, Latvia, as announced on Wednesday through the WBSS press office.

Briedis shouldn’t even remain in the tournament, Gervor boxed his head off. Massive fix.

People said the same thing about Al Haymon & pbc. It's still here. I'm sure the WBSS will find the funds to do the same. Seems as if you want it to fail though? Would be a blow to boxing if it is done away with.

Sauerland’s fixes are shameless. Briedis lost to a journeyman on the undercard of Usyk Gassiev and was given an almost shutout victory. Zack Parker’s win in Glasgow was one of the worst decisions I’ve ever seen. He was injured from R2 and offered nothing.

Has nothing with people wanting it to fail. They are burning money and not paying fighters on time. They're staging some of these fights in empty arenas. I saw a few from the first tournament and all those fights overseas seemed to have empty arenas. Does all those fights really bring in more revenue than what they are paying the fighters?

I’d be upset if you’re right. It’s the closest thing we have to knowing who is best in a division. But if Sauerland get a fighter into a final we know the cards will be fixed.
