"Bronze Bomber" Wilder vs "Rocky" Marciano in a war: Who wins?

Who wins in this clash of titans, a current champion, and the HW GOAT, in a war of attrition, a war of fists, a bloody fight to near death?

Wilder was more athletic, stronger, taller, and faster. He was also the better boxer. Wilder by ko in 5th

      Wilder wins.

It's possible for Marciano to be the 'greater' fighter - as in his time he was a beast - while at the same time losing to many modern HWs that never held a belt.

      Nostalgia blinds many

I agree. I don't even think prime mike could hold a candle to these HWs.

Rocky relied on guys with no movement and he cut easy. With no steady jab and around 5" 10 it's hard seeing Marciano winning against a power puncher with speed and 6'7.

Being a lot shorter would actually help Marciano get inside. I don't think Wilder could deal with the pressure Marciano would put on him. Marciano would bring a war Wilder couldn't handle. He'd chop him down.

Rocky didn't work inside a jab , beating Wilder needs a good reach or speed , I can't see Marciano pulling this off . Wilder won't just stand there and let Rocky tee off on him if anything he makes up a lot with ability to move quickly ,we know how skills lack but I see Wilder landing sooner then Rocky.

Marciano was an all time great. Wilder isn't even an all time good. Rocky threw 100 hard punches a round. Wilder barely averages 30 punches a round. Rocky knocks the sloppy wide open Wilder out early in my opinion.
