Kovalev vs Gilberto Ramirez should be a no brainer for Arum. Beterbiev Yarde co main event. Alvarez Barrera undercard.

        I agree with posts 1, 5-13, 15, 18, 20, 22, but not posts 2, 3, 4, 16.

        I'm neutral towards posts 14, 17, 19, 21.

Kovalev-Beterbiev would be a fun fight in the sense that Gatti-Ward or Wilder-Joshua are fun. Not saying I wouldn't be psyched to see it, because I would.

However, if I could choose only one fight at 175, I'd rather see Gvozdyk vs. Bivol. Both guys are way more skilled than Beterbiev, in their primes, and it's a more significant fight since it's the top 2 guys in the divison. Call me a nut, but I'd rather watch a potentially boring, high level chess match than a war between a faded guy and a limited guy who are both chinny.

YESSS!!!! Make this fight happen!!! Two entertaining KO punchers going at it. Then you have their amateur history together and then if you want to go even deeper look at the violent history between russia (kovalev) and chechnya (beterbiev). There is many story lines in this fight.

... since Cloud, back in 2014, precisely who (among the top fighters) wanted to fight Beterbiev?... I remember that only Kovalev wanted at some point...

Honestly tho i feel Beterbiev needs to fight a solid opponent 1st tho, not go from fighting the likes of Callum Johnson etc to fighting some1 like Kovalev, i dont think hes ready, even tho theyve fought before, Beterbiev vs some1 like Sullivan Barrera would be a good tuneup for Beterbiev, then make the Kovalev vs Beterbiev matchup towards the 2nd half of the year, that would be the best course of action from team Beterbiev imo and would give him better chances of winning the fight

Anyway, the emotional factor of this fight would be huge for both guys.. Let's do this...
A true Kovalev hater still has a picture of Alvarez hitting Kovalev from the first fight. You do know he won the rematch right? Clown.

Kovalev has never ducked anyone and already said he wants to unify next. Are you ****** or just bias and ignorant?
