Why have Matchroom FC turned their backs on Whyte?

I can’t believe what I’m reading, you guys were fully behind Whyte last year and now that AJ/Hearn have sidestepped him you’re all criticising Whyte, blaming the failure of negotiations on him, some of you even want him to lose his next fight. Why?

They are waiting the signal from Eddie Hearn. At the minute Eddie is still trying to sweet talk Dillian Whyte and placate him with false promises. If this doesn't work, expect the split and the nuthuggers to go into a frenzy.

Hell, they offered Whyte damn good money for a world title shot and Whyte turned it down by choice. Nobody turned their back on him.

Yeah exactly. All this news about a Miller fight is to push Whyte to accept the current terms of the rematch.

It's pretty clear that team Joshua ain't gonna put him in with anyone that stands a chance unless they get a ridiculous percentage of the money.

Team Joshua: you peasants will have to settle for what we give you. Hey, where'd everybody go?

I Talked a lot of **** about Whyte last year when Hearn was using him as a pawn to sidestep talks of a Wilder / AJ fight by saying Wilder had to fight Whyte before AJ and even then there wasn’t a guarantee that AJ would be next

And Matchroom seems to have done a great job with his career the last Couple years elevating Whytes status in the UK and making him a headliner , which I didn’t think would happen

I’m not a fan of his but I have to admit Whyte strung enough quality wins over decent opponents the last year and change that if he fought AJ next I wouldn’t be looking forward to it ( because the only names I want AJ to fight are Wilder or Fury ) but you can’t say he hasn’t earned another shot at AJ if those 2 aren’t available

I was sure Whyte was going to be the opponet for AJ in April at Wembley and you’d think that’d it be a decent hype domestic fight in the UK generating good $ .but if it goes to Miller ( who I can’t really say definitely deserves a shot ) you can’t help but think Hearn f.ucking Whyte over a bit and again treating him like the promotions red headed step child

I mean Hearns previously on record saying Whyte just wants to fight and easy to deal with as far as the $, I doubt all of a sudden he got a big head over his worth . But for Whyte to turn down the offers you’d assume that Hearns not giving Whytes fair value for what he brings to a AJ fight. Which is f.ucked up I mean their both under the same banner you’d think it’d be easy to make the fight happen. AJ/Whyte fight you’d think makes way more revenue then a AJ / Miller fight

It’ll be interesting how it all plays out. Whoever AJ chooses it’s not a fight I’d be all that interested in but Whyte deserves it more.

AJs opponents - Whyte, Wlad, Povetkin, Parker, Takam.

These are some of the best heavies around.

Wilders opponents - Ortiz, Fury (worse part is, this was supposed to be a cherry pick lol) and then nobody
