... as published in The Ring, September 2006 edition. Wlad had just lost to Brewster three days earlier and been described by China Chops as "just a six-round fighter who can't take it if the other guy dishes it out" (there's retrospective irony):
"Let me tell you a story. A light guy met a heavyweight guy and the heavyweight said that something so bad has happened. 'I came home a little early from my championship fight because I ended the fight in the opening round,' he said, 'But when I got home I found my wife in bed with another man. So I took the man, threw a right hand straight to his jaw and knocked him out cold.'
The light guy looked at him, his mouth wide open, and said, 'That's unbelievable. The same happened to me.' So he explained. 'I came home a little early from my fight, and what did I see? I saw my wife with another guy. So, I took the guy and threw a right straight to his jaw. Then I threw a left hook, a right hook, another left hook, followed by a combination, a second combination, a third combination. I believe I won on points.' This is the difference between me and Roy Jones."
Wlad outweighs Roy by over 60 lbs, and it doesn't take 'balls' to cheap-shot someone in a magazine.
Noestly, whats the fuss about, some joke.
It looks like a 2 year old joke got under your skin guys.
Roy was a great fighter, but he still was calling out and talked trash about DLH, who is also a much smaller guy.
I mean, honestly, it was a joke, esp. from a guy who never talks trash about anyone.
