He’s been left to do his own thing for too long and it’s too late now he lacks so many fundamentals. No one even had the heart to tell him his jacket is from the women’s section of river island.

Degale is a much better boxer than him but he loves taking a breather on those ropes and I think Eubank will clobber him with uppercuts. Admittedly the first 5 rounds Degale will make him look like a fool.

Groves hits like a mule and hit Eubank for fun and he still kept coming forward. Was never deterred. Degale doesn’t have the fire power or the legs to keep Eubank of him
I agree with the first half of your post but not the second. He definitely needs a come forward to walk into mid range so he can unleash his flashy combinations. All the highlight reel performances have been against tailor made opponents. He has a great work rate if you let him but you can control that by controlling the range. His punch output against groves and Saunders dramatically reduced because they weren’t standing in front of him to be hit.

I don’t think he can just walk down degale, he’s a terrible come forward fighter, no ring IQ, no jab, footwork and balance not good enough, ends up lunging and over reaching with his punches, he just can’t control the range of a fight.
All degale has to do is fight long and tie him up when he wants a breather.

I agree but Degale’s mindset goes walkies for at least 3 rounds in every fight. He gives every limited fighter hope. He is too long in the tooth to dig deep and too battle worn. He will rest on the ropes as he always does and he will get ambushed. The Degale today is a shadow of himself
