Comments Thread For: Photos: Richard Commey Crushes Chaniev To Earn Lomachenko

Commey, Chaniev Fight Photos Gallery - Talk about a statement. Richard Commey (28-2, 25 KOs) steamrolled Isa Chaniev (13-2, 6 KOs) in two brutal rounds to win the vacant IBF lightweight world title. He scored a knockdown with a crunching right hand in the first, knocked him down again with an uppercut in the second, and followed up with a flurry to secure the TKO. (photos by Mikey Williams).

Richard Commey might be a bad style match up for Lomachenko. Has Lomachenko ever fought a tall long armed fighter like this before?

I doubt he wants Lomachenko unification fight for his first title defense.

Of course he does, he's a prize fighter. He's after the biggest prize no matter the risk. And Lomo is the BIGGEST prize.

Lomachenko will fight Mikey Garcia, after Spence demolishes Mikey. easy job for Lomo.

Mikey will want several "tuneups" promised to him by Al after getting rolled by Spence. 2019 will be a "getting back" year after his beating.

I think Commey is a tought fight for Loma.

Anytime you fight a stronger, heavier man with height/reach advantage, it's generally not an easy fight.
