This fight should’ve been stopped earlier by the ref or the corner. None of them were competent. Fight wasn’t competitive. Lopez is a real talent.

Yes the ref and Magdaleno corner performance was shameful, as was Lopez celebrating over his prone body. From Rd 2 I was hoping Diego would just get KOd to avoid a life altering beating. Tim Bradley said the 7th round will affect Diego for the rest of his life; that is scary to hear from someone who went through some wars. Let’s pray that he avoided the worst.

teo has skills, but i think he carried the magdeleno through at least 5 rounds. he could have stepped on the gas and taken him out early. he wanted to impress and was waiting for the highlight ko in which he eventually got. i think he was showboating a bit because of the oppositions threat. at the championship level opposition he will adapt and not showboat and play. its going to be competitive and hope to see him in there with some champs. teo definitely has power and speed.
