Where did Kovalevs China go?

The story going into last night's fight was that kovalev was finished. That he was packing China,and that his chin had been cracked by Ward,and finished off by Alvarez. That Alvarez was going to fold him even faster,and end his career. But last night he took those flush right hands(the same ones that have finished him before),shook them off and boxed beautifully. So was kova ever really packing China,or was his claim of over training true?

His issue is much more his stamina than his chin.

That was only the story from Ward lovers and Kovalev haters. Ward was the only one to get knocked on his ass in the two Kovalev-Ward fights so he never cracked Kovalev's chin. Ward is the one who didn't want to box anymore after the 2nd fight and retired.Kovalev fought very well last night and he is a world champion again. If Kovalev says he over trained I believe him. Ward did not ruin him at all. I think Kovalev is a better fighter than Ward and would beat Ward in a third fight. Kovalev has an excellent trainer now that he respects and listens to. He won't be over training in future fights.
