best version of Sergei kovelev we've seen?

Used the ring more, conserved stamina somewhat, boxed in combinations, didn't take so many risks constantly going for the KO.

Snapping alvarez head back with jabs and rights.

Didn't you watched the first fight ? he was outboxing Alvarez before he got caught.

No, that was against Pascal imo, but he can definitely challenge the other champs even past his prime and come out on top

yea probably the best because he was the most disciplined we've seen him
That said hes still fragile to the body and cant take it as much as he can dish it out.

Probably the smartest he's fought but his physical prime is in the rear view mirror

Nope, he fought like he has most of his career. He just didn't have to worry about much coming back from a fighter who didn't show up.

Any decent LHW who is hungry will take that title off his hands.

This or the first ward fight. The kov that stopped pascal would have stopped alvarez. Difference he lost his killer instinct and is much more gun shy now due to being koed.

Best version of Kov was the one that beat ward in the first fight
