Eddy Reynoso is doing a great work with Óscar.

Óscar never dropped a fighter with a vicious uppercut or a right hand.

He always landed a lot of hooks.

He need more time working with Eddy but he can be a better fighter.

    His power is real

I'm far from a casual fan. I've been following boxing religiously since 1975, probably long before you were even born. This is one of boxing's biggest problems. A great many fans today have been exposed to boxing only in this modern era of multiple titles and guys cherry picking opponents. They just accept this as the norm. If Valdez needed a safe comeback from injury fight against a feather fisted nobody, it should have been a ten round fight without his belt on the line and on a free ESPN card.

Sadly, champions in this era don't do many non title fights

Quigg injured the eardrum or Frampton.

Quigg did not make 126 pounds against Valdez, he was like 130, and in the ring he was 145 pounds.

Almost 10 pounds heavier than Valdez
