In a long-mooted crossroads match, an impressive Craig Spider' Richards (14-1) won the WBA Continental title at light-heavyweight with a surprisingly dominant three round stoppage over Jake Ball (now 12-2) in the chief support at London's O2. Richards emerged with credit from his only previous defeat on points against Frank Buglioni in 2017 and now looks a much improved fighter in the best form of his career.

Richards has improved massively to get this result. Yes Ball has a chin about as strong as Khan, but he's also a hard hitting southpaw. Richards never gave him a chance to get anything off, which for me was more impressive than the stoppage.
As fo Wardley, he's raw as hell but looks impressive and talks a good game - but so did Eubank Jr when he started. Wardley looks like a bigger version of the buffoon, lets hope the similarities go no deeper than that.
