Comments Thread For: Teofimo Lopez Discusses Recent Encounter With Devin Haney

Mayweather Promotions held a fight card on January 17th at the MGM Grand Garden. The fight card took place during Manny Pacquiao-Adrien Broner fight week and tickets were free as a way to give to back to the fans. The fights in the ring weren't the only action that took place that night. Top lightweight prospect/contenders Teofimo Lopez (11-0) and Devin Haney (21-0) were both in attendance and crossed paths in a video captured by BoxingScene.com.

Teofimo Lopez is far from boring. Hard to not like his style no matter who they compare him to.

Yea he’s been interesting so far. He’s garnered enough attention for boxing fans to want to see him step up sometime this year. He seems to conduct himself well during interviews as well

The 21-year-old Lopez understands that just winning isn't enough to become a superstar and that you must also market and promoter yourself outside of the ring.

            Jeez! proof read the article

I like watching both of these guys fight!! I just hope they are able to settle their differences in the ring and not through the media!

IBF should put Haney at #2 and Lopez at #3 then in 6 month order a eliminator between the two

That is so true. I don’t know what it is but for some reason Teofimo Lopez cannot generate the numbers that Ryan Garcia generates. That could be why he’s jealous cause Ryan gets more attention not to mention has an endorsement with adidas
