Comments Thread For: Wilder Advises Whyte To Eliminate Hearn, Sign With PBC

You know that not to be true. Why say that? You know the "guarantees" are just the monies directed to the fighter as an individual. What Haymon specializes in is protecting fighters from huge tax losses by setting up tax shelters. The Fury fight yielded approximately $14M in revenue for Wilder. That's 3 fights for Whyte.
I know you are a wilder guy so you have to logically defend anything that has his name on it, but we are not all dumb. So going by his 4m dollars guarantees there is zero way he made another 10m dollars. The network, promoters would have to take zero cuts for that to happen. Since I don’t see them working for free I can only conclude he made half of the 14m dollars.
That is the realistic numbers from PPV/Ticket sales and his guarantee.Comment

"There’s nothing like America, nothing like being here in America, and getting in front of American fans. I think that will be a great move for him and move him more closer to getting the fight with me than anything. We will see what happens."
Oh that'll be a decent fight!!Comment

If Whyte decides to go in a different direction then who will AJ fight after Miller?? Usyk?? Also that would just mean that whoever wins between Wilder and Fury should be AJ's next opponent sometime in the near future!!Comment

Haha you’ve to take a look at the career of Wilder to know how ****** his advice is.Financial wise,I don’t even think Wilder has made same amount Dillian Whyte made in his last three fights.I don’t think Whyte would be so dumb to sign with PBC,doing that will spell a doom for his career.Comment

Makes sense. It is like all the Light Heavies signing with Top Rank. Whyte would not need to sign with a promoter and could fight anywhere he wants. He is already proven on PPV in the UK and PBC has the opponents for him to face. They could also do joint events like Wilder in the US and Whyte in the UK on 1 PPV and split the total revenue. That would be a win win for fans and the fights. It gives them both more exposure in both markets. He could also wait and see what happens with Fury vs Wilder, and if some how Fury pulls it off he can sign with Warren, but if the idea is to remain independent then he should go with the PBC. He can still work with Hearn like Jacobs, Vargas, Khan, etc.Comment

. Well you tell me when he's getting a fight with Joshua then? They got the same promotor and they still offered him less than what he got for chisora. Hearn told him plenty of times that he was boxing for an eliminator and yet no world title fight. Joshua is the only one pricing himself or of fighting anyone top level. So if Whyte moves away from hearn he can box wilder or fury who are prepared to fight each other for a world titleComment
