  • Comments Thread For: Anthony Joshua Not Likely To Fight on April 13, Admits Hearn

Heavyweight world champion Anthony Joshua is likely to scrap a scheduled title defence at Wembley Stadium on April 13 with a June fight in New York now on the cards, according to promoter Eddie Hearn. Hearn told IFL TV that the Wembley fixture, with no opponent confirmed but compatriot Dillian Whyte the obvious candidate, was not completely off but "very likely" to be cancelled.

He’s got his toughest fight lined up for 2019. Fighting Matchroom in court so he can get a fight

I’m bored of this saga now but I feel like Eddie and AJ are both a bit embarrassed about fighting Miller. It’s a shame there’s no decent US heavyweights for him to build his name against. Fight Ortiz, he’d probably take less than they offered Whyte!

Remember how this fool was rushing Wilder to accept a deal in December because they had to keep the Wembley date?

        Fast Eddie stays taking L's.

Well I live in NYC so for that reason I’m excited I guess. I can go to it. It should be a good event.

Well then obviously Hearn was right, don't u think? Obviously the better fight for Wilder at this point is to redeem himself for his gift draw vs Fury. Joshua should be embarrassed though. He was in the driver's seat, now he seems to be looking for a ride lol

Wembley officials said, "Fúck y'all, we rather get a concert in here that night instead of the doodoo y'all bringing"
