And all this due to hearn ducking Wilders 50mil offer

Reason given for duck is they wanted to fight in UK

Now AJ is gonna fight in USA anyway....

Wow. And to think that, once upon a time, the IBF stripped Fury for not immediately facing their mandatory. But AJ can do whatever he likes.

          Yes - thank you.

And it would at least pay some lip service to the idea that “mandatory” still means something.

I think the master plan was that AJ could be this generation’s Klitschko, able to call all the shots and make a fortune on easy title defenses in his own backyard.

But that model depends upon the rest of the division being weak, like it was in Klitschko’s day. A deep HW division doesn’t “need” AJ the way a comparatively poor HW division needed Wlad.

That fight only ends one way, and everybody knows it. How much preparation could Miller possibly need?

Miller is actually a worse match up for Joshua IMO.

Wilder can knock out anybody, but he doesn't throw a lot of punches sometimes and will give away tons of rounds early trying to solve the puzzle. If he never catches Joshua, Joshua wins. Just like if he never caught Fury (or only caught him once), Fury would have won.

Miller on the other hand is very active and won't give rounds away. I favor Joshua against anybody in the world, but Miller is a big risk/low reward fight. The worst kind.

Now if Big Baby will just upset the applecart, the HW division will be fire! No offense to Joshua (who I like despite the duck games & disrespect to Wilder). But an upset would sure calm the loud-mouthed Hearn fangirls down. Maybe we'll discover some real boxing fans over there. C'mon Big Baby!

PS: AJ should really consider fighting Ortiz ASAP. It would be a "man's man" kind of decision and would restore a lot of respect and admiration for AJ. Ortiz would relish the challenge, and fans would flock to see the fight/PPV.

Hearn is putting it out there hes negotiating with Miller to get Whyte to cave and accept his offer. Thats what all this song and dance is for.
