He was asked by media including at his own fight press conferences would he take up Oscar's offer to fight over a month ago and he side stepped it like a bytch. Even his own fighters clowned him saying Oscar would bash his face in.

After being deprived of his promised shot at the UFC welterweight title, top contender Colby Covington has had plenty to say about UFC President Dana White of late. Of course, Covington isn’t the only person to make negative comments about the polarizing UFC boss recently.

Retired boxer turned promoter Oscar De La Hoya has also gone back and forth with Dana White over the last few weeks, even challenging the UFC President to a fight on the undercard of the next Canelo Alvarez pay-per-view.

Dana White, of course, is extremely unlikely to accept this challenge from Oscar De La Hoya. If the UFC boss did accept it, however, Colby Covington believes he’d be beaten decisively.

“Dana can’t even confront people to their face,” Covington said on the latest stacked episode of BJPENN Radio. “He’s talking **** to all these people in the media, you know, talking **** to Oscar De La Hoya, a guy who would dust him off the map."

And by the way he would get murdered in a cage as well as a ring he has ZERO experience or training in MMA. dana was kicking oscar's butt in the verbal/business beef they have. this was a big mistake though. it just put oscar in the lead. because make no mistake, dana will NOT get in a cage with oscar. and he'll have to find a way to back out. if he surprises me and does fight (he won't), he's in serious trouble. this was a gift for oscar.
