I didnt know that Shane planned to move back down to 147 after the Vargas fight. I had heard that the Floyd-Mosley fight may take place at 147 but I said there is no way Shane would do that because the weight is his biggest advantage.
I read where Mosley said that he wont fight again this year and wont fight Floyd for a couple of more fights but I never heard why. Now they say that its because he is moving back down after the fight and he wants to get use to the weight again. Thats why he wont fight again this year. Im ok with that and I think its a good move.
There are very hard fights at 154 and for less money. He can go down to 147 and fight smaller guys for big money. I also think its a good move because when he moved back down to 147 last time he looked like crap in both of his fights and he actually looked better at 154. If he can fight at 147 like he did against Vargas then it will be interesting.
I wonder will he just not fight Floyd right now or will he not fight any big name at 147. I have a feeling that he wont fight Floyd or Margarito now but he would fight Hatton & Cotto. Overall I think he may fight a solid guy. I wouldnt mind seeing him fight Callazo or maybe he can fight a good fighter but a smaller guy like Castillo. That would be a very exciting fight. Maybe even a fight with Zab which they have talked about for a long time.
How do you guys think he does at 147? Who will he beat and who will he lose to? Forrest last year was also talking about coming down to 147. Everyone knows where the money is and this could make for some huge fights if the guys step up. The only big money guy at 154 is Oscar and he's only going to fight Floyd. NO one wants to fight dangerous guys like Spinks, Karmazin, Winky, and Ouma for low money. Vargas makes big bucks but he probally would never fight a guy like Vernon. 147 is about to get real special.

Pbf is saying that he'll only go up to 154 to fight DLH so it's very probable that they'll ll meet at 147.
