Im OK with Shane Not Fighting Floyd!!!!!

I didnt know that Shane planned to move back down to 147 after the Vargas fight. I had heard that the Floyd-Mosley fight may take place at 147 but I said there is no way Shane would do that because the weight is his biggest advantage.

I read where Mosley said that he wont fight again this year and wont fight Floyd for a couple of more fights but I never heard why. Now they say that its because he is moving back down after the fight and he wants to get use to the weight again. Thats why he wont fight again this year. Im ok with that and I think its a good move.

There are very hard fights at 154 and for less money. He can go down to 147 and fight smaller guys for big money. I also think its a good move because when he moved back down to 147 last time he looked like crap in both of his fights and he actually looked better at 154. If he can fight at 147 like he did against Vargas then it will be interesting.

I wonder will he just not fight Floyd right now or will he not fight any big name at 147. I have a feeling that he wont fight Floyd or Margarito now but he would fight Hatton & Cotto. Overall I think he may fight a solid guy. I wouldnt mind seeing him fight Callazo or maybe he can fight a good fighter but a smaller guy like Castillo. That would be a very exciting fight. Maybe even a fight with Zab which they have talked about for a long time.

How do you guys think he does at 147? Who will he beat and who will he lose to? Forrest last year was also talking about coming down to 147. Everyone knows where the money is and this could make for some huge fights if the guys step up. The only big money guy at 154 is Oscar and he's only going to fight Floyd. NO one wants to fight dangerous guys like Spinks, Karmazin, Winky, and Ouma for low money. Vargas makes big bucks but he probally would never fight a guy like Vernon. 147 is about to get real special.

Mayweather should fight Margarito, Mosley, Hatton, De La Hoya, and maybe even Spinks now. All very interesting fights.

Good if he's going back down to 147. Then he can fight PBF and Marg in that division. Pbf is saying that he'll only go up to 154 to fight DLH so it's very probable that they'll ll meet at 147.

I think Floyd could fight Spinks and would beat him but I still think that fight is a little to dangerous for Floyd with not as much reward. He wouldnt make as much money and in alot of ways I think it would be a harder fight then Margarito anyway because of his style. I say he definatly fights Margarito unless a miracle happeneds and he gets a fight with Vargas but I dont see it

I don't know why anyone thinks Spinks would give Mayweather any trouble. Mayweather is at least as quick, punches harder and most importantly lasts A LOT longer. Judah wore this guy down. After about 5 rounds, Spinks would be gassed and then Mayweather would just cut off the ring and finish Spinks off.

If Mosley could come back down to 147 and be faster then he is at 154 & still have power then he could do well at WW. I don't think it's a bad idea for Mayweather to fight a big WW(Margarito) or a warm-up fight against Vargas just so he could get use to the weight(which i think would be his biggest problem against DLH).

Spinks is NOT more dangerous than margarito. AM brings the strength , activity and power to potentially hurt Floyd. He has a physical size advantage.

What does Spinks bring? Spinks ' advantage in his fights is that he is a good, fast, slick boxer. But Floyd is slicker, better and faster.

Spinks doesn't have a punch that PBF will respect.

This is an easy title for Floyd.

Alot of you seem to think it is so easy to beat these slick lefties but its not. These guys are hard as hell to beat. Sure Zab beat him but thats because Zab can netuarlize all of Spinks advantages because he is also a lefty, is faster then Spinks, and hits harder. He is also a naturaly bigger guy the Floyd.

Karmazin gave Spinks trouble because he is 2 inches taller, he looks like he has the arm length of a 7 footer, he is a natural 154 pounder, he's quick and powerful.

Spinks is not a easy guy to beat and I said it before and Ill say it again. Spinks would fairly easy beat Vargas, Mosley, and Margarito.

Floyd could dominate him but Floyd can also lose this fight. Margarito is just a big strong guy. Floyd doesnt have to do anything special to fight him. He knows what Margarito is going to do and he wont have to do any special game planning.

It takes time to get in the ring with a Southpaw who is always moving, always going away from you, is quick, and has good technique. He is also a much bigger guy then Floyd.
