Floyd fans aren’t boxing fans. They either gave up on Jones after he got KO’d or of they came around later looked at the pound for pound list and picked him. I was one of the few Floyd fans from 96,97,98 era. I know this. None of the fools who ********** over him on this forum even paid to see him once live. All fake fans worshipping a guy who’s probably terrified of them because they are so obsessed. Fake fans.Comment

Folk saying Floyd 'ducked' GGG are either trolling or dumb as **** and don't need to be taken seriously. Same goes with people saying Golovkin 'ducked' Ward, though, so y'know. Glass houses an all.yeah I know
I just find it funny when golovkins fanboys have the audacity to question why anyone would dare question the great golovkin or bag on him....it cracks me up "oh u mus be from the demographic...go smoke crack toofless"..lol.....I mean golovkins career has so many friggin holes yet these guys act as if hes infallible or beyond reproach
"oh u mus be black and hate on all white fighters"....yeah man that's it lolComment

they were in different divisions entirely.
however make no mistake, GGG was handmade for Money to outpoint handily.
And GGG would have been easy meat for Ward who handles elites back to back in his stride, whereas one elite from the lower divisions killed off GGG's entire career.Comment

Ward is a skilled but dirty fighter who got a free ride and a pass from the judges and media. Good riddance.they were in different divisions entirely.

Fine if he eats up elites that is fair. However he resorts to low blows, elbow strikes and head butts too often for me to respect him. The Kessler fight was a prime example. The part I don't understand is why these guys don't retaliate. If the Golovkin fight would have happened and I could advise him I would tell him the very first thing you do is thumb him in the eye ASAP because you know for sure if he gets in trouble he's going to pull a dirty on you.Comment

i cant spot a time when he immediately fouled when in trouble though.Fine if he eats up elites that is fair. I mean, i know for instance joe calzaghe lowblowed hopkins (i know becos he admitted to it) to stop 43 year old hopkins knocking him out in round 1, yet joe gets off scotfree for cheating to stop himself picking up a loss. I've never seen ward do that to immediately prevent himself losing.
Ward tends to slip in the odd thing every few rounds, preemptive, to prevent getting DQ for it outright by overdoing it when in trouble.
I guess premeditated is arguably nastier.Last edited by DreamFighter; 02-02-2019, 01:03 PM.Comment
