I like both both fighters. But the only thing imo that Mikey has in skill and experience. Unless he catches Spence cold i dont see it.

Both guys are robotic and stiff, although MIkey is clearly more skilled BUT and this is the crux of the matter, Spence is too big and hits too hard.

Mikey either tries to survive or gets KOd.

I always root for the underdog but I have to be realistic.

imo, spence is only taller. mikey is not this lil man that everyone is trying to make him out to be. mikey is short BUT he's a stocky big bone mofo! in the broner fight i know it was at 140, but mikey ended up looking bigger than broner! mikey is not tiny man, he's just short.

He showed little power in his two outings at 140. He couldn't even stop Robert Easter who he visibly hurt multiple times at 135. He sold his undefeated record to Haymon and Spence. Just a pawn in a long term game.

i agreed he didnt really show that he carried his power over to the higher weight but that still doesnt change what i said about mikey not being a small tiny guy. he's just short but his frame is actually pretty big.

yeah I saw he had a training video where he was hooked up to a breathing tube. Looked awkward as all hell since he was trying to throw his hardest body shots on the bag without dislodging the mask/tube
