I noticed people were making fun of Tank for calling out Pacquiao but I think it would be a great matchup. Two guys who are pretty similar in size and if it happened at 140 I would favor Davis. Unlike Broner, Davis will be aggressive and let his hands go forcing Pac into a young man's fight which he won't be able to handle at his age. In boxing we know that power is mainly born and not made and Tank definitely has that natural power that will carry over multiple weight classes.

Davis' "call out" is an empty one. He has no interest in the fight. Pacquaio is coming off wins, isn't rusty and isn't coming up in weight. He ticks no boxes for what a Tank Davis opponent consists of.

I’m big on Davis as well. And I think sky’s the limit with a guy with his talent, fighting ability and hunger for violence. In fact in some ways he’s similar to a young manny. But I think he has to beat at least a name at 130 and 135. If Davis was currently a champ at 135 with a big name or 2 on his resume I’d be more into this idea but he just hasn’t shown enough. He certainly has the talent to compete with the old war horse though.
