Comments Thread For: Rosado Eager To Show 'Smarter And Sharper' Version vs. Sulecki

It's been seven years since Gabriel Rosado last fought in his Philadelphia hometown and more than six years since fighting anywhere in Pennsylvania. By his own definition, that run took place a generation ago." "This is the second half of my career, the smarter, more versatile version will be here fighting for all my fans," Rosado (24-11-1, 13KOs), now 33, told BoxingScene.com of his forthcoming March 15 showdown with Poland's Maciej Sulecki.

Quigley is such a bum. Rosado would have beat him. I can't see Rosado out boxing Sulecki though....

Rosado stands no chance. He was a gatekeeper, and is now older.

Neither guy has star power but Sulecki certainty has the boxing ability and he's fought tougher Opposition than Charlo at middle weight. Rosado fought some real top guys. He fought Jermell close and forced the lion into a stick and run similar to Thurman vs Lopez.

Much tougher fight than Canelo/Feilding or Charlo/ Monroe. This fight is not a given and if Sulecki can withstand the pressure he becomes a Derevyanchenko like spoiler at middle weight.

Yikes. Rosado's going to take a horrible beating in this one.

When Rosado retires he's going to have left the sport with one crazy resume.

            Angulo
            Soto Karass
            Golovkin
            J'Leon Love
            Curtis Stevens
            Quillin
            Charlo
            Lemieux
            Clottey
            Murray
            Glen Tapia
            and now Sulecki

Yeah, that's my take too. I thought Gabe did enough to beat Arias but Sulecki is tough and rugged. I see him putting some punishment on Rosado and busting up that scar tissue on Gabe's face. Should be entertaining however...

The big question is...can Sulecki bring enough power or move enough to keep Rosado off his game? Charlo tried to over power Rosado then started moving (a lot) because he didn't have the pop.

Sulecki doesn't have Charlo's legs but he can box and has a very solid defense.

                This fight should be interesting.

I really want to see Charlo fight Maciej Sulecki. It will tell us everything there is to know about Jermell.
