    Jaime Munguia will make the fourth defense of the World Boxing Organization junior middleweight world title on April 13 at the Arena Monterrey in Mexico against an opponent to be determined, according to his promoter Fernando Beltran of Zanfer Promotions. Beltran made the announcement during the delivery of the recognition granted by the National Boxing Commission by Miguel Torruco.

    They have different surnames and come from different countries but Jaime Munguia and Badou Jack have weird, trademark eyes like nobody else. Their mother must have done a bit of travelling in her time.

                They are trying to build up a Mexican fighter to tap into the Mexican American casual boxing fan market which can be immense. Having him fight a big fight in Mexico on dazn will appeal to the ultra-nationalistic Mexican American fan base. Kid reminds me of a less skilled version of fernando Vargas. And I do mean less skilled all around

                  I love what they're doing with this kid. He won the title so young, so they're getting him the experience they can as quickly as possible. All of his opponents have been decent boxers they can take a punch and came to win, too.

                  Many champions only fight once a year, so this is all bonus work for the kid.
