It's not just canelo or "canelo fans" a lot of people think he's style is very boring. Usually people that don't like the amateur style he brings to the pros.

he's a boxer who prefers to counter punch and often times it's his opponents inability to make him uncomfortable and apply effective pressure that combines for a stinker. Guys like Hurd and angulo who threw caution to the wind and were aggressive made for very exciting fights with lara, who won't back down either. Other guys fought lara too passively and when that's the case, his style won't create fireworks.

Just when he fought el perro. I think it was nominated or won. I don't remember, but it was a heck of a fight.

How ever you want to describe his style a lot of people dont like it not just "canelo fans" and other fighters have called him boring not just canelo as you said which was the point of my comment.

He needs an idiot look what happened to perro and Williams. Now perro says he got thumbed and by the look of the eye and knowing Lara its very possible. I saw Hernandez vs Lara and a soon as Hernandez went after him Lara head butted him clear as day. I have seen him vs Martirosyan and Molina as well and he's very dirty so a smart fighter will fight him carefully not wreckless or wild.
