Comments Thread For: Thurman-Lopez FOX Tripleheader Peaked At 2,765,000 Viewers

Keith Thurman and Josesito Lopez didn't just deliver a more entertaining, competitive welterweight title fight Saturday night than many expected. The gritty veterans attracted more viewers for FOX, too. Nielsen Media Research figures released Tuesday indicated the "PBC on FOX" tripleheader lured a peak audience of 2,765,000 during the 12th round of the compelling main event between Thurman and Lopez at Barclays Center in Brooklyn. The 12-round Thurman-Lopez fight, in which Thurman overcame serious trouble during the seventh round to win a majority decision, drew an average of 2,480,000 viewers.

Decent numbers for a channel every home has. Still need to do a little better. Gotta hand it to PBC (Haymon) though, delivered on some great free cards. Yeah the bad still outweighs the good.I had my doubts in the beginning but can admit they have exceeded my expectations and will hopefully continue to do so.

Even though Thurman-Lopez was availablein many more homes it still couldn’t touch the Crawford-Benavidez rating. Just goes to show how much greater the push is from the Worldwide Leader than Fox.

Crawford drew that big a number even all of NSB was calling it a mismatch.

Plus this rating for fox included Fox Deportes and Fox streaming app views while Crawford was just the people watching on espn
