So now it makes sense with Pugmire's dates that he threw out (May 11/18). If Joshua moves out of the June date, then the April 27 date works as well.

I guess it makes it easier for the traveling Brits if it is a NY fight.

Sam Watson said over the weekend that it was going to take place at the Barcalys. I don't think it is officially set, but that's probably the spot. And Danny does good numbers at Barclays, he has a nice east coast following. Think they will stick with that location.

I thought the US PPV market was where the money is, and that Fury is a huge star now?

It seems the fight is heavily relying on the UK PPV market if this is the reason they aren't going to Vegas.

Wilder-Fury generated $25m on US PPV, and the rematch will double that.

To generate that in the UK, you'd need to draw over 850k homes in the UK, lol.

Brooklyn and Las Vegas are the final two bidders, and it's looking like Brooklyn. Full stop.
