  • I really wished the rematch would take place in the UK. By the way, Fury appears to be in a great shape, judging by the new pics.

      Not after Abdusalamov.

Jack Reis gave Fury every chance he could to be in that fight; New York likely gives nowhere near that type of latitude, even if Reis did the right thing.
Ok, I see what you're saying. Yeah, I suppose if Fury gets dropped that bad many refs are going to wave it off immediately. I'm picking Fury to win this next one by KO myself.

      • Really figured it was Vegas. Wilder I hope gets the ko for him vs AJ would be a fight to watch than AJ vs Fury simply for in a Wilder vs AJ fight the action would be none stop somebody going down with a ko.

        • Fury and WIlder claimed to be confident of victory before first fight. Now after all that has happened, I wonder how or if their views have changed?
I wonder if fury is even more confident of after having taken wilders blows for 12 rounds? And I wonder if WIlder is more confident or less confident of beating fury after seeing fury up close for 12 rounds?

I think they are probably the same as they were in the first fight. Wilder probably a bit discouraged of being out boxed the way he was for large spots of the fight but encouraged he can get to Fury. And Fury is probably encouraged that he can out box Wilder but discouraged a bit that even in the 12th round he could potentially get KTFO.

Harvey Dock let him get to his feet, walk in three directions, clearly warn him that he's got only moments to show anything, and immediately stopped the fight on the first punch that Kownacki landed.

If Washington had been flattened, Dock wouldn't have even counted

Yes, maybe. Wilder knows fury can outbox him but knows he can get opportunities for ko, but knows fury getr up. Fury knows he can outbox wilder but knows wilder can down him, but he can get up.
But fury can take comfort in that he thought he beat wilder. Wilder is kidding himself a bit more regarding result though. I think wilder happier with draw
