Was anyone else really impressed by Mungia's performance?

He looked amazing. He was on the back foot, on his toes, outboxing the Asian.

The way he used his jab amd let his combos go on the move reminds me of a young more versatile Sugar Ray Leonard.

Troll threat but I WILL say this.

He’s kind of goofy looking on his feet and you can tell how young he is.

I AM impressed that he seemed to have a plan and followed through and is conscious of his need for improvement on his feet.

With his height and power it’s a goood idea and it’s good to develop that especially at his age. You dont want to be Brandon Rios at age 30 and THEN realize you need to get hit less. I think he’s conscious of being hit as is his team and them trying to improve on that means they care about his development.

I am a fan of his but I thought it was his worse performance that I have seen since I first saw him fight when he won the title. He will beat a lot of good fighters but he is easy to hit. He should stay at 154 because GGG, Canelo and Jacobs would all easily beat him in my opinion.

Although he is a "World Champion"... In reality Munguia is STILL a work in progress.
